Kee Jewellery masterpiece displayed at the Bugis Junction shopping mall in Singapore, Ginza Tanaka’s 24k gold Christmas tree cost $1.6 million to create. The golden tree is adorned with 240 jewels—diamonds and strings of pearls included—and weighs in at 46 pounds total. That’s a far cry from last year’s 7,000-pound, 20-foot Christmas tree. The most expensive Christmas tree in the world will be on display at the Ginza Tanaka jewelry shop in Shinsaibashi, Osaka throughout the holiday season.
